A keen contest among BJP, BSP, SP and Congress is in the offing for the 2017 assembly election to Dataganj. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Aonla, Dharmendra Kumar, had secured a lead of 30393 votes over SP’s Kunwar Sarvraj Singh who was his nearest rival in the Dataganj assembly constituency.
